Enjoy the Oregon Coast Wildlife from your New Home

Reserve at Gearhart

Oregon Coast Wildlife is Abundant at the Reserve at Gearhart

Your opportunity to live in the midst of Oregon’s wildlife is here…

Wildlife is abundant and varied in The Reserve at Gearhart. Here is a photo of the local elk herd that stops by to munch on the grass and laze around in the sun occasionally.

Just to the east is a 30 acre wildlife sanctuary including forested and wetland areas. Eagles, hawks, deer, and many other species populate the area and are seen often in and about The Reserve.

The Oregon Silverspot Butterfly – an endangered species – is being reintroduced into the sanctuary area by the North Coast Land Conservancy. A rare flower necessary for the butterfly’s reproductive cycle is being preserved within the zone to enhance the butterfly’s renewal. The entire process will be fascinating to observe.
